Studio Manager — F45 New Westminster South
We're not looking for someone to clock in, keep the lights on, and clock out. We're looking for someone who wants to run a community, lead a team to run the best sessions, and be passionate about making a difference while also running a profitable business.
About the Role
- Own day-to-day operations of the studio — scheduling, staffing, and member experience
- Lead and develop the coaching team, holding the standard on the floor and off it
- Track studio performance, including customer retention and member acquisition
- Build and protect the culture that makes this studio feel different
- Lead member challenges, events, and other ways to keep members engaged
- Coach 20 hours per week
Who We're Looking For
- Sees this as a mission, not a 9-to-5. You need to be invested in the outcome, not just the hours. This job comes with flexibility in your work schedule, because you're responsible for the outcome. If you're looking for a job to clock in and clock out, this is not the role for you.
- A self-starter who solves problems and makes decisions without waiting to be told what to do. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, who can demonstrate how they've taken initiative in the past, and doesn't need to be micromanaged.
- Chooses the best course of action for the business, not just the fastest one
- Holds a high standard for themselves, and brings the people around them up to it
- Gives feedback that's honest, kind, and respectful. No ego, no avoiding hard conversations.
- Naturally warm and outgoing. You will be constantly around people and you need to be able to easily create conversations and connect with them.
- Ambitious and driven, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- 2–3 years experience as a Studio Manager or Head Trainer
Our Culture
We're a team focused on growth, both in the studio and outside it. Our focus isn't to provide the best workouts, it's to provide the best community. We believe consistency is created through community. Most people who come to our studio are new to the gym and were intimidated to start. We make fitness fun and easy, and help people enjoy taking care of their health.
As a team, we focus on the growth of the studio. We're not afraid of trying new things, of failing while learning, and coming to one another with our concerns. We have a great, positive atmosphere and don't tolerate anyone who doesn't bring that.
Compensation
- $70,000/year base salary
- Commission: $950+ per month (depends on performance, $850 is average)
- 15 paid vacation days per year
- Ability to work remotely for certain tasks
